Venues

AUT Hospitality Services manage a variety of event venues within AUT's three campuses.

These are: AUT City Campus, AUT North Campus, AUT South Campus and AUT Millennium Campus.

City Campus - AUT City

The AUT City Campus is home to the popular Sir Paul Reeves Building and the City Conference Centre. The campus is located just minutes from Queen Street and close to parking, public transport and a variety of accommodation options.

The City Campus also offers clients a wide range of venues in the form of lecture theatres, classrooms and a fully licensed atrium space

The Hikuwai Plaza offers a large outdoor space which is perfect for entertainment events or filming.

Sir Paul Reeves Building (WG building)

The newest addition to the City Campus, the Sir Paul Reeves Building, offers a range of unique function spaces spread across four levels. The eco-friendly design offers flexible, light open spaces with an abundance of natural light.

Right at the heart of the city campus, with its impressive glass-roofed atrium, the Sir Paul Reeves Building is connected to the surrounding buildings, including the Business School, by way of Governor Fitzroy Plaza.The award winning building houses the very latest in audio visual and interactive technology, making it a fantastic option for all events.

City Conference Centre (WA Building)

The City Conference Centre is a flexible and spacious venue which has the capacity to seat up to 280 guests theatre style or 330 cocktail style.

The Conference Centre is located on the ground floor of the WA building allowing full and easy disabled access.

North Shore Campus - AUT North Shore

The North Shore Campus is ideally located within easy distances to the motorway, and is close to Takapuna and only 15 minutes from the central city.

The Conference Centre has two lecture theatres that seat 250 and 300 people respectively, and there is an open foyer for exhibitions or cocktail functions, as well as a north-facing courtyard.
This facility has full disabled access and sophisticated AV equipment. The campus also has an indoor sports stadium for even larger functions.

Manukau Campus - AUT South

The South Campus, situated in park-like gardens, is located just off the Southern Motorway and offers plenty of  onsite parking.

Based at the South Campus is the Manukau Conference Centre which provides great natural light as well as black-out ability. The Conference Centre offers inbuilt AV equipment and lighting options as well as accommodating up to 150 guests. The Conference Centre can also be split into three smaller, separate rooms.

The diverse space on the campus mean guests can enjoy a cocktail function beside the pool, or team build with a game of tennis.

The expansive grass areas also offer a garden environment perfect for summer functions with a classic marquee.

This campus is equipped with exciting new spaces which is now open for students.

AUT Millennium Campus

Located on Auckland's North Shore, AUT Millennium is New Zealand's world-class sports training facility, helping our community to be healthy and our top athletes to be champions. Read some of our key features.

AUT Millennium has developed from the partnership between AUT University and the Millennium Institute of Sport and Health. AUT Millennium has a focus on sport and health research.
